About Us
A brief detail about the Vision and Mission of Our Trust
History of the Trust
Shri Janki Mahal was founded in 1942-43 (Vikram Sanvat 2000) in a spirit of deep devotion by Shri Mohanlalji Kejriwal and his wife Smt. Laxmi Devi Kejriwal, originally from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Acting on the guidance of their revered Guru, they lovingly accepted Maa Janki as their daughter and Shri Ram as their son-in-law, and out of this sacred sentiment they built the temple and dedicated their lives to the service of the Divine Couple. A hallmark of this devotion is the “Ashtayam Seva”—eight times daily Aarti and food offerings—which was started by the founders and continues unbroken even today.
